Dr. Partha Roy completed his Ph.D. from Department of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta. He was awarded with Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India for pursuing his Ph.D. After completion of M. Pharm, Dr. Roy worked as Pharmaceutics faculty in a post-graduate pharmacy institution in India. On completion of his Ph.D. he was awarded with Research Associateship from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. He then served as a faculty in University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. Dr. Roy research focuses on plant-bioactive nanomedicine development for drug induced liver dysfunctions, cancer, leishmaniasis and diabetes. Currently he is experimenting with carbon nanomaterials obtained by waste to wealth approach as newer probes for cell-imaging. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences. Dr. Roy has an ambition to strive for excellence in pharmaceutical education and research in the dynamic multidisciplinary platform of Adamas University.
