Dr. S. K. Ashok Kumar is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. He has more than 27 years of research and teaching experience. Dr. Kumar research focus on Chemical sensors, chemosensors, fluorosensors, synthesis of ionophores, Nanomaterials, Bioinorganic Chemistry and Cancer biology. Dr. Kumar secured prestigious research funding “DST, BRNS, DST-EMR, NRB, AICTE”. Dr. Kumar has published 81 Research/Reviews and three chapters in Books. Dr. Kumar has successfully guided more than fifty postgraduate students, nine PhD students and is currently guiding five PhD students. Dr. Kumar is life member of professional bodies like chemical research society of India, Indian Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry (ISEAC) and Indian Science Congress, Kolkata.
